This dream home is located 85 km from Capetown in the fisher village of Yzerfortein. This home is a real treat if you love white sand and blue oceans, like I do. Today I'm inspired by the awesome HQ of Etsy in the US, housing 75 employees. This online retailer of handmade goods shows a lot of their own products internally. Isn't this a divine office? I would love to work in such an inspiring place. What do you think of such a workspace?

HAPPY MONDAY!!!

Welcome to the new week my dear friends all over the world! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty relaxed. Me and Mr M. enjoyed the summer here in Holland and fortunately we had some time to relax this weekend. We even had a gorgeous fish BBQ. I must admit we enjoy life:-) But now it's time for a fresh start of the week. Today I have my regular day off but this morning I have to do some work for my job in the corporate word. What are your plans this week? I hope you enjoy your new week as much as I do!! Have fun!

CONGRATULATIONS

40 years ago they said 'Yes I do' to eachother and this weekend we celebrated my parents' 40th wedding anniversary with family at the beach here in Holland. The weather was just beautiful that night. It was just meant to be! Congratulations mum and dad! Love You!!!

PS. Thanks for all your sweet comments after my blogpost about my mum. As you can see on this image she is pretty strong and vital. Only a few weeks to go  for herwith the after treatment.

BEAUTY IN WHITE

How are you my friends? Do you want to go on a trip to South Africa with me today? Today we are traveling to Yzerfontein. This small fishing village, an hour drive from Cape Town is a popular location for photo shoots and commercials due to the magnificent environment and beautiful houses. 

This house is built by the architect agency of Bobby Welman & Associates. This home offers an awesome seaview and gives you true holiday vibes. Don't you think so? The pure white combined with the blue sea is such a treat for the eye. Enjoy!

COLOR YOUR WORLD PART II

I don't know what it is but I'm into colors these days, maybe it's because of the lovely summer we have here in Holland. I posted earlier on the new collection of the Danish homewear brand Rice here but I just can't get enough of it. I just love the new blue and purple tones in the collection. So fresh and vibrant!

MELBOURNE WAREHOUSE

Today I'm inspired by this two-storey, converted mid-20th century warehouse in Melbourne, Australia from textile designer Diane Bergeron and her husband Peter Throsby. The ground floor has a kitchen, 3 bedroons and 2 bathrooms. On the first floor, there's a living room, bedroon and office/showroom.

I’m excited to begin a new week and hope that you are too my friends! I don’t believe that only Fridays are meant to be happy days, but a Monday can be a great one too simply because a new week is a fresh start. I'm always an early bird, especially in summer so this morning I woke up around 6AM and now it's 8AM and I have a full day ahead of me. What a lovely morning. What do you have planned this week? And how was your weekend? 

My weekend was just so relaxed. My brother celebrated his birthday party this weekend and me and Mr M. were laying down in his lovely Fatboy hammock for a while. I hope you enjoy your new week as I do!
