DUTCH DREAM HOTEL

My dears, it's time to plan your trips for 2011. What about a trip to Amsterdam NEXT YEAR?? If you are planning a trip to 'my' capital city you should try this weird but awesome design hotel, located just a few kilometers from Amsterdam. The 12 storey, 160 room Inntel Hotel plays with shapes and iconography of classic Dutch housing. Inside though, a sleek, modern and simple decor is featured. Large graphics and a restrained palette of black, white, wood, and punches of green are used throughout.

TRAVEL NOTEBOOK CRUSH

Today I'm crushed on this Midori Travel Notebook. Midori Traveler's Notebook features a very high quality leather cover, every one of which is handmade by local workers in Chiangmai, Thailand. It comes in brown and black leather.The leather itself is 2mm thick, vegetable-tanned and being genuine and unprocessed, it still has its original scratches and marks all of which contributes to its very 'raw' natural feel.

Hello friends! HOW ARE YOU? HOW IS YOUR WEEKEND? I have some exiting news to share with you I’m flying to NEW YORK with my Mr just AFTER X-MAS and can you imagine, I can’t wait! I have been in New York several times but it's been 3 years now since I was in the big apple. It's absolutely my favourite city in the world. This city has it all you know. We are planning to stay in the POD hotel but I'm open for any suggestions you may have. Have you visited NYC before? Oh if so, please fill me in with some new inspiration in Soho, Little Italy, Upper East and, and, and!  I always like to hear what suggestions YOU have because whenever I post about an upcoming trip you always give me the best tips!

Today I take you on a home tour to Brasil. This is the 'Sumar House' designed by architect Isay Weinfeld for a graphic desinger in Sao Paulo. He wanted to have a big house where he could work, train and welcome friends.

In order to find accomodation for an exercise room for dance, as well as a large area for entertaining, two bedrooms and all other necessary rooms below street level.

One of my favourite cities in the world in Buenos Aires. This sexy, Latino city with a European twist is unforgettable! This city is all you need for a short break. The shopping ranges from designer labels to street hawkers, and nightlife will keep you swinging all night long. Don’t miss attending a superpassionate fútbol (soccer) game, snatching a quick tango lesson or downing a juicy steak.
A visit to the Philip Starck hotel: Faena Universa is a must! If you can afford it, please stay for the night, if your budget is limited a night at the pool will be a great option too.

HAPPY WEEKEND MY FRIENDS! What are your plans? I hope it will be a good one.  Today I'd love to share another stylish winter home with you. I found this link via Desire to Inspire. This home in Finland  is the home of a family of 5 where the mother creates beautiful knit objects and the father is a carpenter. I LOVE thisnatural, neutral and handmade vibe of this home. And look at the fabulous knitwear. Just Awesome!
