My lovelies, HOW ARE YOU? It's been a while since I wrote on the blog here. I must admit I really missed you all!!! It's great to share ideas and inspiration with you and hear what you think. It feels that I've met a lot of new online friends and although we've never met I have the feeling that I know you all:-) Do you know that feeling in the online world? I've read all your lovely comments and e-mails and later this week I will share some more details regarding the Meet the Blogger event. It's amazing how many enthousiastic people have signed up for the event on Facebook in the last 2 weeks. 

This morning I came back home from my amazing, super sailing trip in the British Virgin Islands and Curacao in the Caribbean. It was just divine. Above and below you'll find a glimpse of our trip. I hope you like what you see. But now I need to take a little power nap to overcome my jetlag after about 20 hours of travel...

CITYHOPPER: 24 HOURS IN LONDON

Hello friends! Happy weekend. How was your week? My week was exiting! And now I'm back home. Today I'd love to give you a sneak preview of my London visit. On Wednesday morning I flew out to London to join the Decorate Book launch with Holly Becker in Liberty's. And I'm so exited after I met so many lovely bloggers. In the morning I did some shopping in London on my own. I went to see my favourite stores: Anthropology, Zara Home, Muji and I had lunch at Tibits a lovely heathy food cafe. In the afternoon I went to Liberty. I met with a lot of fellow bloggers. It is a great way to share experiences and stories. In the afternoon I met with the lovely Carole King from Dear Designer. It felt like a blind date because you read a lot of stories and you chat online but you have no idea how it will be to meet eachother in person. We had a lovely tea with cupcakes and champagne in Liberty and it felt as if we knew eachother already for a long time. And then at 6PM it was time for Holly's Decorate book launch. First of all it was great to see Holly and see the enthousiasm she brings and her heartwarming story about her dream and her book. She is just a lovely authentic person. She shared some great tips with us on blogging which I will deffenitely use to develop Urban Style Vibes to the next level. And of course after the session she did a lovely styling session with Leslie Shrewing and Sania Pell

TIME FOR TULIPS

Hello friends! I'm back home. Sorry that I left you without any post in the last few days. I've been on the road almost every day this week and I didn't had the chance to blog. If you are a frequent reader of my blog you know that I was traveling to London this week for the Decorate Book Launch with Holly Becker. I must admit it was an awesome event. I met a lot of bloggers and we had so much fun. This weekend I will share my full story: 24 hours in London with you.

Today I'm inspired and happily surprise with the cover page of the Dutch newspaper Volkskrant. Look at these lovely tulips. This is the grab your tulip garden in Marnesse a city up north in Holland. You can grab your own tulips for EUR 1,25. They have more than 300.000 tulips on 1 field and you can choose from 50 different models. I'd love to go there and grab my own bunch of spring.

A ROOM WITH AN URBAN VIEW...STOCKHOLM

Hello Darlings. It's early in the morning and I'm fresh and awake. i just dropped my Mr on the airport and now I'm ready to kickstart the new week to come. I twill be a busy one. On Wednesday I will travel to London for the Decorate Book launch and next week I will start my holiday with a trip to Curacao and the BVI.Oh I must admit I'm so ready for a break. The last months have been hectic and with a lot of changes so I think it is good timing to sit down, relax, think, breathe and feel some sunshine. But before I leave you I will make sure you will get your daily dosis of Urban Style Vibes* inspiration. Today I take you on a trip to Stockholm. This Urban apartement is located in the Birkastan neighbourhood. The apartment provides a glorious mixture of styles that anyone would feel at home. I love the wooden beams that and the light from above in the living area. It makes the room so spacious. It also features a gorgeous fireplace for cold winter nights. And last but not least I love the subtle use of blue tones. Image a place like this. Just wonderful!

Hi lovelies,  how are you? Do you enjoy the spring time in your country? Today was a lovely, bright and sunny day here in Rotterdam. We went out shopping and it was just great. Today I'd like to take you on a trip to Tanger in Morocco. This is the Hotel Nord Pinus. A stylish design hotel with arabic influences. I love the subtle use of the stunning sea view.

Sometimes you just need to take a little 'blog out' to come back with some fresh finds and good stories. In a few weeks from now I will take a real blogcation because I will go on a trip to the Caribean. Next week I will share my travel plan with you. But today I'd love to take you to South Africa! This is an amazing place in Cape Town. This is Hotel Grand Daddy: A gleaming fleet of iconic American Airstreem trailers set on the rooftop of the hotel. The Airstream Penthouse Park is a collection of vintage Airstream trailers personally sourced in the USA. Lovingly decorated by a group of South African artists. Each of the seven trailers has been given a new lease of life through playful, eccentric and dazzling decor.

My dear friends, TGIF (thank god it's friday!) What a week. How was your week? Was it a good one? But more important: Are you ready to celebrate the weekend? I just had diner with the Mr in the lovely Harbour Club in Rotterdam. We had a delicious fish diner in a great athmosphere so that was a good kick off for the weekend. But before I leave you for the weekend I would like to thank you for all your sweet comments, e-mails indeas and inspiration. It's great to be out here in the bloggerworld and meet so many wonderful, talented people. It feels like I know many of you quiet well but we've never met in real life. However that will change soon.
