HEART HOME MAGAZINE WINTER

I must admit I forgot to share one important thing before X-Mas with you. I know I told you before that I've been busy traveling, working etc. but this is something you still need to know. I'm sure you heard about the lovely Heart Home Magazine and now they've launched their second issue. It's full with winter inspiration and Daniel, one of the editors told me that already 60.000!!! have read the second issue. So maybe this post comes too late for you because you've already seen it and otherwise I would recommend you to start reading soon! This is a great initiative from my dear friends: Carole, Ariane and Daniel in the UK and I foresee a great future for this fabulous online MAG!

Hello lovely friends! How are you? Are you ready for the Holidays? I'm still working on my to do list but I'm doing well. Today I'd love to share a lovely spot with you that I've visited last week. I went to Miami and had a lovely seafood platter @ The Dutch in Miami South Beach in the Westin Hotel (images below). How funny that this name is linked to my country the Netherlands. However when I asked why this name was chosen they told me that they just loved the name. How funny is that! I wish you a wonderful X-Mas weekend and beyond! Talk soon!

ALL I WANT FOR X-MAS IS...

Good Morning. Are you ready for some new inspiration. The next two weeks I will treat you with some X-Mas inspiration. I've started to decorate my own place and I'm still browsing the internet voor new ideas.
If you are a frequent reader of Urban Style Vibes* you know that I love ZARA Home. This year they created different styles with different colors. The color for me is red this year so I love that one.

NEW HOTEL IN AMSTERDAM

Hello friends! How are you? Are you ready to rush into the end of the year? I must admit that it's a hectic time but I love it. There is so much going on! New projects, new business and even some lovely new places in Amsterdam. Today I'd love to share this awesome new hotel in Amsterdam. This is the conservatorium hotel. This iconic building once housed Amsterdam's premier music conservatorium. It has undergone a complete transformation into the city's most unique and fashionable hotels. It combines luxury, lifestyle and heritage with a personalized level of service. I would love to spent a night in this lovely hotel.

IKEA X-MAS INSPIRATION PART II

Hello friends! Can you imagine that it's X-Mas in less than 3 weeks now? This year I started early with my preparations since I will be away just before X-Mas. Do you remember my early post with IKEA X-Mas inspiration? The have so much to offer this year to create an affordable athmosphere. This year I am using red as the basic color. Here is some inspiration that I found on the Livet Hemma blog from IKEA.

HOW COOL IS THIS!!

Hello friends, sorry for my absence in the past week. I've been so busy with my new business and that has had all my attention. But I must admit I've missed blogging and I regret that I did not spent that much time online reading all your wonderful blogs as much as I'd love. However it is what it is and I promise to rock the blog again in the next weeks. I also have some exiting plans to share with you later this week so please stay tuned! Today I stumbled upon this stunning home and guess what it's located just around the corner here in Rotterdam. This house extension, was designed by Rotterdam based archticture studio BBVH Architecten. This house was built in the 30's with small windows and therefor rather dark living spaces. The owner wanted to improve the houe in such a way that it would give more loving quality. The house is extended with 2,5 meters, but it gained lots of light and spacial quality.
