How are you friends? How is the weekend so far? I had a wonderful time this weekend and today I enjoyed my daydream about new destinations for next year. I'm planning a trip to Barcelona, Cabo Verde and Spain. In my continuous search for inspiration I found this amazing eco-resort in Cabo Verde: Spinguera On the coast between sandy beaches with stunning view s you will find 12 fishing cottages, beautifully restored, simple and in line with the environment.

Two weeks ago I met Manon Garritsen at the Woonbeurs in Amsterdam. She is a very talented designer from my hometown Rotterdam! How funny to meet eachother on the tradeshow in Amsterdam. TODAY I WANT TO BE IN....ST BARTHS (VIA URBAN STYLE VIBES)

Good Morning! Are you fresh and awake? Today I would like to take you on a trip to St. Barths in the Caribbean. This French Caribbean island has all you need: magnificent white sand beaches, crystal clear Caribbean water, breathtaking views, friendly people and a good cuisine. What else do you need. The images above and below show you the Hotel La Banane. This Design Hotel is an ode to the 50's. The 9 white bungalows and wooden terraces are livened up with vibrant splashes of color. Many of the furnishings were designed by the Swiss architect Pierre Jeanneret.

A ROOM WITH A VIEW...(VIA URBAN STYLE VIBES*)

Let's go on trip today to Sweden to 'hunt' for our dream home. This villa is located on the coast near Stockholm. It's a great place with a stunning view. And look at all the windows. I guess you have a view to the lake in almost every room. Isn't that fantastic?

WOODEN HOUSE

Welcome to the new week! What are your plans? I had a wonderful weekend in Rotterdam. On Saturday I had a great diner with the BF in De Engel in Rotterdam and today I stayed at home to redecorate and clean a bit. Browsing the web I found this special wooden house for you as todays inspiration. This house is located in Munich Germany. Architect Susanne Nobis who designed this home and also lives here was inspired by the huge boat houses. She designed this place with a minimum of materials and a limited budget. I love the spacious living room and the light from both sides and in the roof of the house. The surrounding near the lake is another big advantage I guess.

DUTCH DESIGN APARTMENT

Hi friends, how is your weekend? I'm so exited today that I can't wait to post this on Monday. Today I stumbled upon this beautiful design apartment in Eindhoven. This apartment belongs to the Dutch Design Academy and it is a place for meetings and guests who visit the Design Academy. If you take a closer look you will recognise some work from Dutch designers that studied at the Dutch Design Academy in the interior. Thomas Eurlings was appointed to do the styling of this apartment. The apartment is located on the 18th floor and has a beautiful view.

Happy Fall weekend lovelies! What are your plans this weekend? I hope you will enjoy the new season this weekend. I usually love Summer and Spring more than Fall but now I realize that fall has beautiful colors and I love the rhythm and the change of seasons more and more.
