It's still chilly and cold here in the Netherlands. So what about a lovely Barts hat? I just came across this Dutch brand. I love these hats and their website is taking you to the snow:-)

Hi Lovely readers across the globe. It's Monday again and I'm so happy because I have a day off today. That's why I did some shopping in my hometown Rotterdam today. It's good to see that there is a lot of lovely autumn/winter fashion in store now. So tonight I will rearrange my wardrobe, including my new stuff so that I'm ready for the new season. Above you see some lovely images of the Marimekko Autumn/Winter collection. Marimekko Corporation is a leading Finnish textile and clothing design company that was established in 1951. The company designs, manufactures and markets high-quality clothing, interior decoration textiles, bags and other accessories under the Marimekko brand, both in Finland and abroad. Beautiful DAY

As you might have noticed via my earlier blogposts I love the Scandinavian style. Today I would like to introduce another Danish brand to you. DAY Birger et Mikkelsen. This innovative Danish brand was created in 1997 with the sole aim of creating exquisite design. Using the inspiration of the ethnic cultures of Asia as a starting point, the label infuses each piece with the sumptuous feel of vintage glamour and playful personality. Head designer Michala Weisneck blends her luxury experience at Christian Lacroix, Cacharel and Christian Dior with uniquely Scandinavian, functional tailoring. Amsterdam International Fashion Week

Today was the start of the Amsterdam Fashion Week.Amsterdam International Fashion Week started in 2004 as an initiative to put Amsterdam on the map as a sparkling and internationally oriented destination for Fashion. Twice a year, Fashion Week forms the centre-point of the Dutch fashion world, with a full schedule of catwalk shows, trade fairs, presentations, lectures and parties.
The show programme is for professionals only and takes place at the former Gas Factories in Amsterdam's ‘Westergas' area. Young and established designers show their collections on the Amsterdam catwalk. With the growing interest in ‘Dutch Design', Amsterdam International Fashion Week attracts a growing audience of directional international brands, buyers and press.
Answering to immense popular demand, Fashion Week DOWNTOWN consists of numerous public catwalk shows, parties, shop launches, lectures and expositions, all organized in collaboration with local museums, galleries, clubs and shops.
