SUMMER HOME LOVE

You know how much I love to browse magazines to find cool spots and hot places across the globe. Today I came across last years' May issue of Martha Stewarts Living showing us the wonderful weekend home of designer Trina Turk and her husband Jonathan Skow in Palm Springs, California. Today they are having a wonderful poolside barbecue. What a couple and what a lovely place! By the way she has some lovely stores in the USA. When I was in New York earlier this year I went to visit her store in the hip and happening neighbourhood Meatpacking District. If you plan a trip to NYC I would recommend that area. I love her clothes and homewear. Amazing!!!

Oh my sweet bloggerfriends. I need to share this with you. This is the lovely apartment from Rupert Landendinger in Copenhagen. Do you remember my post about the lovely home of Danish fashion deisgner Malene Birger? This is her husband. He is a Brand and Product director for Malene's company. And if you take a close look, you can see similarities in both interiors. By the way, both apartments are located in Copenhagen. What a treat!

I love all the frameworks and the use of serene colours combined with black.

My friends, are you ready for a trip to South Africa? This week I will take you to some of the dream locations in South Africa. This dream home is located 85 km from Capetown in the fisher village of Yzerfortein. This home is a real treat if you love white sand and blue oceans, like I do. This home comes very close to my perfect retreat.

Meg Ryan's beach house

My dear friends, as you might have noticed I do not blogpost about celebs on Urban Style Vibes* but today I need to make an exeption to this rule. The June issue of Elle Decor is featuring the lovely Meg Ryan and her latest beach house. I just love her as an actress (think about You've got mail, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry met Sally...) and I must admit her deco style inspires me.
