HELP: MY SEARCH FOR NEW CHAIRS...

Today I need your help. I'm in the mood for some redecoration in my home but I don't want to spent too much money on it because we might move to another place next year and at that time we might buy some new furniture that fits the casa, you know..So I'm seriously looking for new dining table chairs. We have a teak table (as shown above) but I don't like the chairs anymore. I feel they don't fit our interior which is based on natural colors with a modern twist (see below a glimpse of our living). We have a wooden floor, brown couches and white cabinets, shutters and lamps. Coming across many chairs all over the place isn't helping. However I came across some I really liked.

Please let me know what you think! You always give me the best tips and advice when it comes to decoration and redesign.

Help!

Help! As I told you last week I'm preparing the restyling of my home office. However, at this moment I'm a bit stuck in the middle. I'm in doubt what to choose and how to continue so I would love to ask for your help before I start. This is the room now: 1.80m x 5.00m The window is 1.20 x 1.80. The room has a wooden floor and I would love to keep it like that. On the right hand side of the room (when you enter it) there is a big closet.

My ideas so far:

1. Buy a new desk Q. Any suggestions for a design like but affordable desk?

2. Find a lovely curtain e.g. Marimekko design to bring in some colour

3. Paint one wall in a different color. Q Which one?

4. Add some shelves on the wall

5. Add a moodboard to give this room a human touch.

Please note that this remake needs to be done on a budget, since I've just bought a new car and we are planning a trip to Japan so my budget for this summer is almost spent;-)

Black or white?

In my last post I asked for your help regarding the new colour of my bedroom wall(s). I'm still in doubt. If I look at the beautiful images of white bedrooms I'm still not sure if black is the right colour to paint my bedroom. Maybe I'm just affraid to do so;-) What would you suggest?
