The wonderful Belgian chain of bakeries, Le Pain Quotidien (Our Daily Bread) is a well known spot for breakfast or lunch. It's a good bet for creative sandwiches made on fresh bread, and a wide range of delectable sweets. I love the communal table and everything is organic there. The chain now has more than 80 stores in 12 countries and it is still growing. There are similarly popular Le Pain Quotidiens in a number of cities, including Antwerp, Brussels, New York, Paris, London, and Holywood. I'm hoping for such a great concept in Rotterdam soon!
