DUTCH DESIGN APARTMENT

Hi friends, how is your weekend? I'm so exited today that I can't wait to post this on Monday. Today I stumbled upon this beautiful design apartment in Eindhoven. This apartment belongs to the Dutch Design Academy and it is a place for meetings and guests who visit the Design Academy. If you take a closer look you will recognise some work from Dutch designers that studied at the Dutch Design Academy in the interior. Thomas Eurlings was appointed to do the styling of this apartment. The apartment is located on the 18th floor and has a beautiful view.

HAPPY FALL WEEKEND!!

Happy Fall weekend lovelies! What are your plans this weekend? I hope you will enjoy the new season this weekend. I usually love Summer and Spring more than Fall but now I realize that fall has beautiful colors and I love the rhythm and the change of seasons more and more.

Q. WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE SEASON AND WHY??

HELP: NO PLACE LIKE HOME (OFFICE)

Hello friends, what happened with this week??? It's Friday again. Can you imagine? I've been away from home the last couple of days to work on my new business and today I'm glad that I have a day in my home office. Do you remember that I started to blog here and here about my ideas about my own home office more than a year ago? In a few steps I have now created my own office but I'm not ready to share the final result with you. This was the room 1 year ago. And now It's clean and white with a white desk and drawer from Bo Concept. In addition I have bought a new white office chair from EAMES. BUT the most important part needs to be done: THE STYLING to make it a cosy place. I love to work from home but this place definitely needs pimping before I can feel really at home here. That's why I'm searching for new inspiration. Do you have ideas for me? Thank you so much. You always give me great inspiration and fresh thinking. Bare in mind that it's a small office.

Todays inspiration comes from the Swedish stylist Myrica Bercqvist I love her styling. The home shows a fresh and personal style, combined with some design items. I must admit I'm in love with her work now so it won't be the last post about her interiors I guess....

URBAN COFFEE

Today I stumbled upon the new coffee chain Roy Steet Coffee and Tea in Seattle. Especially the design of this new -Starbucks owned- coffee place is different than the usual Starbucks interiors. Roy Street Coffee & Tea uses regional materials, features the work of local artists and is designed for sustainability. They also aim at reducing their environmental footprint through green construction, energy and swater conservation and recycling. What do you think of this ' new style Starbucks'?

Q. Unfortunately I haven't been able to visit Seattle lately. Do you know if they serve good coffee?

WASH & COFFEE

Good Morning! Todays inspiration comes from Amsterdam. Wash & Coffee is a place where you can have the best of both worlds. You can wash and iron clothes, drink a cup of coffee and get online. It's easy as that. They even offer ironing courses.

Q. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THIS CONCEPT? DO YOU HAVE SIMILAR CONCEPTS IN YOUR COUNTRY?

Would you like to spend some time in this beautiful environment?

A kitchen with a view....
