Loft Life
Today I would like to take you on a city trip to New York. Imagine a sophisticated Loft in Soho. This is the work of SPI Design, based in LA. In this loft htey have intentionally maintained the original industrial elements inherent in the space while also creating a warm, cozy chic environment. I love the color coded book shelf, the photo gallery and look at that bedroom with bathroom aside...Dream on my sweethearts and have a lovely Monday!!

LAMA Design
Summer is always a good time to plan a good party with your friends and loved ones. We are having a party in June. The theme is: Bubbles 'n Bites. In my search for original decoration I found the website of LAMA Designs.
Each beautifully designed original pattern is the creative work of designer Pablo Ferraro. Committed to creating environmentally friendly products, Pablo uses 100% cotton that has not been bleached or treated with toxins harmful to the environment. In Pablo's words, "All our designs are handprinted and we work on a small scale to manage a local, environmental and socially responsible company." Fabulous, fun, festive and earth-friendly. It doesn't get much better than that!

Lazy Sunday
Ooh, I love this! I have a lazy Sunday today. No appointments and nobody home. What a treat!

This morning the sun was shining here in the city of Rotterdam. I took advantage of it by cleaning my balcony so I'm almost ready for summer!
PS. Love those images with the roofs playing with the styling of these images.

Home Office part II
I'm dreaming of a home office like this. Next week I will start with the restyling of my home office. I think this image shows the essence. Simple, light and organized.

And this is the creative office of Orly Kiely. Different style, but also great inpspiration. Later this week I will show you my office now and walk you through my restyling ideas.
Last week I posted on some other beautiful home offices. Read more here.

Easter, easter, easter
Oh my dears, we are lucky here in Holland with another day off. They call it second Easter day. I'm so happy! We have a lovely weekend. My fiance and I went to the Boymans van Beuningen museum yesterday here in the city of Rotterdam and after that we had a wonderful diner at the recently opened Harbour Club in the park. We had a wonderful fish dish with a good bottle of Moet Rose Champagne. Every day is a day to celebrate life and love:-)
PS. Love the turqoise shutters above. It feels like summer already:-)

My dears! Many of you asked me for an update and images from our trip to Madrid last weekend. My mother and I had a lovely long weekend together and I'm so happy to share the first images and stories with you.

Littered with marble monuments, landscaped lawns, ocasional elegant buildings and a romantic lakeWhenever the wheater is fine Madrilenos will from all across the city gather here to stroll. And look the sun is unveiling the first green leaves in the trees.
