FABULOUS FORMENTERA

So how was your kick off of the new week? Did you had a good one or do you need some inspiration. . Last week I posted about the beautiful nature on this island here. Today I'd love to share my five best finds for Formentera. And although I tried to create a list of the hot hotels of Formentera I ended up with some divine houses  photographed by Jordi Canosa.

1. Gecko Beach Club (image above) This boutique hotel is just a beauty on the beach. After a Balearic facelift the Sunday Times awarded this hotel in their Top 100 travel destionations for 2010: The Hot 100.

BUNGALOW

Happy Monday my dears. How are you today? Are you ready to kick-off the new week or do you need some extra inspiration. Well, here you go. Today I'd love to share some images of the Danish store Bungalow with you. At this store, hand-blocked fabrics inspired and created in India meld with Scandinavian minimalism. You can buy scarves, bedding and pillows. If you are in Copenhagen it's definitely worth a visit. But I can imagine if you are reading this on the other side of the world, you might be happy that they also have a wonderful webshop here.

Q. WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT THE NEW DESIGN?

Although it's Autumn here in Holland, summer is in my head today so I would love to share these lovely images Postcard Inn on the Beach Hotel in Florida. This is a true beauty on the beach. A bohemian mix of colors, vintage lightning and Eames chairs with a finishing touch of beautiful wave images on the wall.

TRAVEL TIME: FORMENTERA

Today I must admit that I fell in love with an island. Islands are always surrounded by the sea and they have a local, special culture. But this island goes beyond my imagination! It's the island of Formentera (close to party island Ibiza) Let's go on a journey by boat from Ibiza to this amazing island. And guess what? This island hosts some of the most beautiful boutique hotels and design villa's. I hope you enjoy the rough nature and landscape today. Later this week I will get back to you with a list of must visit spots.

My dear blogger friends. Welcome to the new week! This weekend I've spent some time in reading some beautiful magazines. I always love to find new inspiration and share it with you here on Urban Style Vibes*. My inspiration comes from other blogs, browsing the internet and of course some from the 'traditional' magazines. Over time I discovered that I tend to read more online than offline because there is so many choice from beautiful e-zines like Rue, Lonny Magazine etc. But on the other I just love to have the paper version of all these lovely magazines.

PINK RIBBON BREAST CANCER FOUNDATION

My dear friends, how is your weekend? Do you enjoy the last glimpse of sunshine? I hope you will. Today we will go out for a walk on the beach because the weather is lovely. But before I leave you I would like to draw your attention on the Pin Ribbon Breast Cancer Foundation. As I mentioned earlier on this blog my mother was diagnosed breast cancer earlier this year. Luckily she is doing pretty well after a surgery and after treatment but this good cause needs some support. I just bought this lovely lucky charm bracelet. 50% of the money goes to the foundation. In addition you can show your support while wearing it.If you would like to contribute to this good cause, you can buy some lovely products here.
